I think that looks great so far, I bet it'll be really nice after the adjustments. How did you come up with the background? I'm having a hard time trying to figure mine out.
I tried to make it match one of my icons, like some other the other ones I had were stars to fit my constellation or plant vines that matches my love of gardening. So the paint splatters came from the palette. Try and use some of your icons to get ideas :)
